• Perform environmental monitoring of process areas in a pharmaceutical facility.
• Perform high purity water, clean steam, and compressed gas systems sampling.
• Participate in the overtime and weekend schedule as required.
• Participate in on-call scheduling as required
• Maintain laboratory supplies, media, and reagent inventory.
• Assist in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample and sample test result tracking.
• May perform basic microbial identification.
• May perform acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media.
• May perform routine utility testing

• Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences
• Knowledge cGMP is a plus
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, 2nd Shift - Shift Differential Pay Added. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.
