Job Summary:
ES Attendant will be responsible for routine, post procedure and dismissal cleaning, servicing, and sanitizing of assigned rooms and areas.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings and equipment
- Dusting / Disinfecting windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment
- Polishing sinks, tubs, mirrors and other equipment
- Replenish supplies of soaps, towels, and other dispensable items
- Report mechanical failures or negative conditions observed to Director
- Gather and dispose of trash
- Removed soiled linens
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Must know how to use common house cleaning implements such as brooms and mops to keep areas clean and well serviced
- Must know how to care for equipment and to be alert to hazards
- Ability to follow oral or written instructions
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to stand, stoop, pull, push, bend and lift using proper body mechanics
