Role: Equities Ultra Low Latency DMA Business Analyst / Project Manager - VP

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity within Equities Technology to work in a front-office facing technology team. The successful candidate will collaborate with a trading floor business unit to implement a strategically important new ULLDMA platform, working in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of highly experienced technologists.

Job Overview:

Business Analyst to join the Global Cash BA/PM team, which primarily consists of resources across London, Belfast, New York, New Jersey, Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Pune.

The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to perform business analysis and project management for the ULLDMA project in NAM for the Cash Equities & Prime Finance businesses.

The primary scope of work includes:

  • Defining and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Status reporting and ownership of various streams within a given program
  • Participating in workshops with stakeholder groups to finalize requirements concerning interdependencies within the front to back system flows
  • Manage dependencies and partner with other technology groups to integrate the product offering into Citi’s technology stack
  • Providing implementation / post-implementation support

This will require frequent interaction with stakeholders at many levels of the organization, from junior analysts to senior management, across multiple departments including the Front Office Business, Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Surveillance, Technology, as well as external vendors

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish project governance and charter
  • Business analysis / requirements gathering and documentation – scope definition, dependency mapping, BRD/FRD, story points
  • End to end management of project deliveries
  • Chair and drive status meetings, requirements gathering / vetting, tech design and other meetings as needed
  • Report on project status, next steps, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Resolve day-to-day project issues and conflicting workload priorities
  • Assist and support user community with change management as needed
  • Oversee the testing process and work with the QA team to create test cases
  • Ensuring release contents are understood by the business, including producing release notes
  • Proven delivery record, running multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Stakeholder management, expectation setting amongst competing priorities
  • Coordinating releases

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Experience:

  • Equities front office experience, particularly in ULLDMA Equities E-Trading is preferred
  • Knowledge of the key functions and processes of the Cash and Prime businesses is preferred
  • Significant Business Analysis / Project Management experience across the full project lifecycle (prioritization, requirements, design, development, testing and deployment)
  • Exposure to Agile project management and SDLC principles
  • Understanding of pre-trade, compliance & regulatory controls
  • Good understanding of system design and modern technology architecture
  • Understanding of the full trade life cycle

Qualifications/Education:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
