American Pregnancy Association (APA)

Who We Are:

The American Pregnancy Association is a non-profit pregnancy education and wellness organization. We serve a global community, and we’re based in Irving, TX. Founded in 1995, the APA was created through the influence of the media, which understood the significance of a couple’s dream of adoption, which then turned into a national story. Through this story, The Dallas Morning News, CNN, and the Associated Press revealed a tremendous need for an organization which provided pregnancy education and wellness information coupled with access to resources related to reproductive and pregnancy health.

Objectives:

The Executive Director will develop and execute the strategic vision of the APA, direct our staff of Pregnancy Educators and serve as the spokesperson of the organization with the media, community leaders, business leaders, and strategic partners.

In addition to guiding APA to “the next level,” this person will collaborate with our digital team on strategies and content for the APA website.

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree
• Excellent verbal, writing, organizational, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to develop and sustain relationships as well as negotiate agreements
• Experience with team member recruitment and development

Experience required:

• Minimum five years of leadership
• Non-profit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
