Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Quality Records Accountability Analyst to support our FA-18E/F Program business in New Orleans, LA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
Maintenance Control support personnel are those personnel assigned to Maintenance Control that are responsible for routine Maintenance Control administrative functions, for example, initializing special inspections, maintenance of NALCOMIS data and Auto Log Sets (ALS) , and logs and records. For Marine Corps activities, Maintenance Control support personnel include Work Center 030 Maintenance Admin personnel assigned to Maintenance Control Work Center 020. Support personnel may initiate When Discovered “O” work orders, if directed to do so by Maintenance Control managers. Inspected By blocks on scheduled maintenance actions that require a control document (020 work center control work order) are considered administrative actions and may be signed by any personnel assigned Maintenance Control responsibilities.
Typical Maintenance Control support personnel assignments include:
- Maintenance Clerk
- Logs and Records
- Database Administrator/System Administrator
- Phase Supervisor
- Technical Directive Coordinator
- Support Equipment Periodic Maintenance System (PMS) Coordinator
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Aircraft Planner and Scheduler for SMIs, Logs and Records, and Technical Publications Librarian.
- Documents and maintains completed build/ quality/inspection records to maintain the integrity of as-built deliverable product configuration.
- Reconciles erroneous data entries to ensure all production records are completed and accounted for by conducting database queries, performing audits of planning and production schedules, and/or coordinating with customer custodians.
- Leads the work of less experienced employees.
- Assembles and validates data packages and log books from traceable build records in accordance with applicable requirements to provide visibility of deliverable product build status.
- Provides product build information to status the product for roll out, flight and/or delivery.
- Provides solutions to a variety of complex problems by leading the development and implementation of process and procedure improvements to ensure the integrity of the documentation for delivered product build process.
- Maintains records storage and shipping logs to assure retrievability in compliance with applicable requirements
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience with aircraft Logs and Records
- Capable of working a variable shift, and occasional overtime and weekends
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
- Able to travel 25% of the time or more
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Prior experience as an USN or USMC AZ
- 3-5 years’ experience with aircraft log and records, Technical Directives, and Technical Library duties.
- Experience with FA-18EF aircraft.
- 3+ years’ experience with U.S. Navy or USMC aviation logistics, maintenance and acquisition practices
- Experience with 4790.2 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
- 3+ years’ experience maintaining F/A-18E/F, EA-18G Aircraft Logs, and Records Books IAW 4790.2
- 3+ years’ experience with COMNAVAIRINST 4790.2 Series quality assurance programs such as FOD and Tool Control
- Experience with MPA or CNAL audits
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Salary Range: $50,150-$67,850
