An exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Operative to join Regatta Ireland's new distribution facility based in Ringaskiddy on a permanent contract. The Facilities and Maintenance Operative performs a wide range of duties relating to the upkeep of the Distribution Centre and onsite equipment plus Retail Properties and Irish Head Office, and equipment used in these locations.

Role Requirements:

  • The Distribution Centre (DC) and retail stores are maintained to a high standard and meet operational demands e.g. basic plumbing, painting and decorating, alterations and repairs.
  • Equipment used in the DC and retail stores are maintained to a high standard and meet all legal statutory requirements.
  • Awareness of site is maintained and problems / issues are highlighted / sorted before they have an operational impact.
  • Works closely with H&S and site management to ensure that all regular maintenance / testing is completed on time to the correct standard.
  • Sub-contractors are managed professionally to ensure Regatta, H&S and legislative requirements are achieved.
  • Work is scheduled according to priority and to have minimum operational impact, whether in the DC or retail stores.
  • Work requests by store managers or the DC management team via the facilities helpdesk are prioritised, scheduled and undertaken according to business need, and this is effectively communicated to the relevant stakeholder.

Role Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in facilities/maintenance roles, warehousing or logistics background desirable but not essential.
  • Electrical qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Hands-on experience essential.
  • Open on trade/degree/diploma.
