Financial Analyst II, BinghamtonUnited Health Services is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Denials Recovery Team in Binghamton, NY. The Financial Analyst II develops, tracks reports, and analyzes denial metrics. This is a BENEFITS-ELIGIBLE position.

Financial Analyst II Overview
Identifying trends and process improvement opportunities. Serves as key contact person and liaison between the operational departments and the revenue cycle team. Assists operational teams in the preparation and deployment of actions plans. Monitors & tracks plans and measures improvement and on-going comparative trend analysis.
Financial Analyst II Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Analyzes trends to identify root cause and improvement opportunities within Operations & Revenue Cycle
Serves as point of contact for operational departments for questions and improvement processes
Maintains work plans and updated list of issues identified
Leads teams in preparation of actions plans. Tracks action plans for issue resolution
Provides on-going reports of trends and performance improvement
Monitors revenue cycle and key indicators on a consistent basis communicates any unusual changes
Assist Revenue Cycle & Operations Managers and Supervisors with analysis and reporting as requested

Position Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare or similar
Preferred:
1-3 years of Healthcare experience
