Ferrellgas is searching for a Fleet Maintenance Analyst to join our growing team! The Fleet Maintenance Analyst will be responsible for managing fleet assets with an emphasis on data analysis. This analyst will work closely with our hauling division and others as needed. This position will work with other Fleet Coordinators as a lead/mentor providing analytics and recommendations for maintenance needed. This employee will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the field and provide clear direction around vehicles in need of repair. There will be a focus on efficiencies, cost savings and improvements such as reducing both downtime, repairs and maintenance spend. This position will develop and manage professional relationships throughout the company and be a Fleet advocate for areas of the company.

- Identifies trends, develops recommendations on preventive maintenance processes.
- Serves as lead team member in assisting others
- Negotiates pricing for the repair and maintenance services ensuring that pricing levels meet company standards.
- Continuously analyzes fleet maintenance data with the goal of reducing fleet maintenance costs, providing reports to upper management around company metric as to efficiencies gained on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Maintains good working relationships with other departments and mentor others within the Fleet team.
- Serves as lead subject matter expert on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks
- Responsible for ensuring that safe and reliable vehicles are made available to meet the operational needs of the business.
- Manages the recall process for all OEMs, logs the information, identifies affected units, notifies field management, and tracks progress to completion.
- Sets up new vehicles in all applicable systems.
- Makes recommendations to both field management and fleet department management on vehicle repairs based on cost detailed analysis and fleet maintenance standards.
- Oversees the allocation and transfer of equipment to service units.
- Manages spare equipment to ensure proper and efficient utilization of equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years’ fleet/mechanic experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience with pump and hydraulic equipment preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience with MS Excel and managing databases.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
