The Culver Hotel is seeking a qualified Food Runner to join the team at Lillie's, a fine dining restaurant with French flair, located in our reimagined boutique luxury property in the heart of Culver City. This 46-room hotel is the newest addition to the Proper Hospitality portfolio, and holds a special place in the heart of Culver City's history.

Food Runners are the connection between the Front of House and Back of House, helping to eliminate stress and discord by communicating information between Cooks and Servers. They also ensure that food goes out at the time precisely as the Chef intended. The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner. Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous. Must have a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
• Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently
• Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
• Previous experience is a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or lounge experience will be considered a plus
• Customer-oriented approach and patience
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent people skills
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• High school diploma will be considered a plus
