Position Summary

As a Food Service Manager in Training, you will learn supervisory and technical skills that are in alignment with the company's mission, its retailing philosophies, and its operational strategies. This hands-on-role in store operations provides insight into the food service/branded restaurant operations, for your successful transition into a Food Service Manager role.?

Key Accountabilities

• Creating exceptional customer experiences
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operational procedures including daily paperwork, cash/banking transactions, ordering food, equipment and supplies, and appropriate company reports
• Understand and practice strong inventory control methods
• Actively participate in all employee-related management functions including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivation, discipline, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives.
• Understand and perform P&L analysis
• Assume responsibility in the food service manager's absence.

Additional requirements include:

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
• Previous management proficiency in related retail environment
• Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
