FOOD SERVICES MANAGER

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Food Services Manager. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position working Monday through Friday, 11 months per year August through June. This position will offer a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, as well as a full benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage with a monthly employee contribution, and paid time off in the form of sick, personal, and vacation days.

The Food Services Manager oversees daily operations in the Food Services Department in order to assist in the implementation of a high quality and nutritious school foods program, that upholds high standards of cleanliness and safety, and that conforms with local, state, and federal regulations and requirements for food service and public health. This is a lead management position requiring the ability to direct staff in the overall production and service for the department. The position is responsible to forecast all items needed for menu service according to recipe and production methods, and for ensuring that all National School Lunch program requirements and Mt. Lebanon School District Wellness Policy guidelines are being followed. This position requires daily engagement with staff, vendors, and other members of the school community, to build and maintain professional and positive work relations and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of an Associate's degree (or educational equivalent experience) and at least 2 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience.
• Demonstrated experience and competence in food service, preferably in a school district.
• Previous experience in food service management is preferred.
• Pennsylvania Registered School Business Official or Specialist status through PASBO preferred

• Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
• Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE 6004) (Act 24)
• School Personnel Health Record (Physical including TB test)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
