We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. This role will support the Innovation costing team in new product costings and maintenance of accurate cost information for existing products.
Primary Accountabilities
- Support the innovation costing team with costings of new products and reformulations to the beverages portfolio
- Responsible for weekly execution of the zero-cost report and follow up of issues identified
- Responsible for weekly execution of material master reports and follow up of issues
- Responsible for sector correspondences of new material set-ups and coordinating finance process life-cycles
- Support the innovations finance team in partnering with stakeholders from different functions, providing financial insights into innovations and product development.
- Ensure accuracy of system standard costings
- Preparing analysis and cause of change as required for strategic projects identified
- Liaise cross functionally, across all levels, to support ad hoc analytics work
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally a professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in a high-volume multi-national manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify issues on a timely basis, identify an action plan to resolve issues and influence others to implement the action plan. An appetite for continuous improvement and adding value to the business
- Ability to manage and align conflicting priorities and deliver on key deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to and influence co-workers (both financial and non-financial) across various departments and all levels of the organisation
- Excellent excel skills a necessity. Systems literate with SAP costing experience a distinct advantage
