Within AMD the Design Software Verification team play a critical role in verifying the AMD EDA tool chain for both pre- and post-silicon support. We are looking for a talented intern to join our team in Dublin and help ensure that our software meets customer needs and has the highest quality. As part of this internship, you will improve your FPGA design and software development testing skills, using advanced design languages on the most advanced FPGAs and alongside innovative engineers.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Development of new designs to test the Vivado tool chain
- Development and maintenance of automated test frameworks
- Testing next generation FPGA/ACAP EDA tools
Knowledge/Skills acquired during internship will include but not limited to:
- Digital Design, FGPA, Vivado, Static Timing Analysis, python, TCL, linux, Software development practices/processes including using tools such as Jira/perforce/confluence
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Currently pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Good understanding of digital logic design principles or
- Software development (scripting) experience.
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
