Position Description

The Laundry Aide will collect soiled laundry from the residents room, wash/fold the laundry, and return the clean laundry to the residents rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects soiled laundry
• Sorts soiled laundry and linens and ensures they are washed in the proper cycle.
• Distributes neat, folded clean laundry and personal resident clothing
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean and stocked

Qualifications

• Any combination of education, training, and/or experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform.
• Grade school education is preferred.
