Fulfillment Manager

Pat’s Pastured is a dynamic pasture-based livestock business located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. We sell grass-fed and pastured meat and eggs along with other farmers’ products to the Rhode Island and New England communities through an online store, on-farm store, home delivery, farmers’ markets and in the near future a home shipping program. The fulfillment staff position ensures that orders are picked and packed accurately and is responsible for stocking products according to farm standards. This position requires lifting up to 50+ pounds and working in a cold environment (refrigerator & freezer). Pat’s Pastured is looking for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, sharing their passion for cooking and local agriculture.

Tasks include:

• Pre-order, home delivery and shipping box fulfillment in dedicated refrigerated space Monday-Friday for next day pick up, delivery or shipping
• Leading quarterly complete farm product inventory
• Organizing and printing shipping and delivery labels
• Use routing software to plan routes for delivery drivers
• Organize farm store & freezers
• Record keeping of freezers and coolers
• Manage store inventory
• Maintain and restock fulfillment freezer
• Assisting customers in store
• Identify maintenance for all equipment in fulfillment
• Market cooler packing and maintenance
• Packing delivery boxes
• Striving for 100% accuracy in all customer orders

Qualifications:

• Willing to work in refrigerated/freezing environment
• Experience with managing a team
• On-farm position and cannot be worked remotely
• Reliable transportation to work
• Strong team member and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Desire for constant improvement

Compensation:

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour; 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday (in person only). Health insurance is not provided.
• $150 farm store credit (resets monthly)
• $500 professional development fund (annually)
