You'll become a member of the wider finance team at Apple. With over 300 employees from varied backgrounds, the Finance department in Cork supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including Sales Fulfilment, Logistics, Manufacturing and Operations, Apple Music, Apple Retail as well as the Global Business Services (GBS) function. This is a key role in a dynamic environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements. Order to Cash is a team that supports Apple’s revenue generation and related cash collection across its varied lines of business. We are a team of 70 people within GBS that supports these functions for the business and interacts daily with our global colleagues. This role is part of the GBS Credit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit for a large portfolio of accounts. This will involve close interaction with the wider Order to Cash team, Apple sales teams, European Credit Team, and Legal.

Key Qualifications

  • Previous credit management experience is required
  • Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Be a self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment and show flexibility in dealing with evolving situations.
  • Fluency in a European Language an advantage

Description

Credit management activities associated with a large portfolio of accounts Provide support to the Credit, Collections and Cash Applications Teams as required Participate in and support projects Periodic metrics reporting Ongoing operational improvement Receive and give inputs to legal and insurance actions Ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley Excellent customer services to both external & internal customers ie. Apple business teams, Credit Team, Collections team and Cash Applications team.

Education & Experience

Part qualified accountant or equivalent third level qualification.
