Shiocton Cut Stock in Shiocton, WI is looking for general laborers to join our mill staff. 40 hour work weeks, hours Mon - Thurs, 6:30am-5:00pm. After 90 days we do offer benefits. General Labor

Pay: $16 -$18

The Machine Operator safely operates and maintains the Sawmill equipment to meet customer specifications.

Essential functions:

*Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow company safety guidelines and requirements, use personal protective equipment, and proactively address any unsafe conditions observed. Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance, inspection ready at all times. *Responsible for setting up machines, maintaining process flow, shutting down machines, and performing maintenance, as necessary. *Cleans and inspects machinery daily. *Communicates with others on the line to facilitate production. *Keeps workspace and surroundings clean and neat to foster productivity and efficiency. *Other assignments as made by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willing to train

Education/certification/licensure:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

Experience required:

*Previous experience with setting up and maintaining equipment preferred *Previous lumber manufacturing experience preferred

Knowledge and skills required:

• Basic mechanical skills

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
