Job description

The Pool Construction Laborer will be part of a team that will be responsible for building in-ground fiberglass pools and spas at customer homes. Pool Construction Laborers will load and unload materials, lay out pool walls, and install pump and filter systems. Applicants need to be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending over, and handling of materials.

Looking to hire individuals in and around the Crossville and Cookeville area. We meet in Crossville and you can travel anywhere from Knoxville to Nashville during you daily working hours.

Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

• Clean and prepare construction sites and maintain them through completion.
• Acquire information and tools needed to perform each job assigned before beginning
• Assist construction site workers with digging ditches, and laying plumbing material
• Load, unload and distribute building materials
• Operate tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, pressure cleaners, etc.) properly and safely
• Erect lumber forms around swimming pools and spas
• Drill and dig into earth and rock
• Level ground using trowels and shovels
• Clean up spills and remove trash and debris from construction sites.
• Laying pavers and tile work

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years construction experience or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work overtime, especially during the summer months.
• Experience operating a bobcat, skid steer or excavator is helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
