Scope:

The role of the Production Operative within the Mell site is focused on carrying out work duties in a safe, efficient & economic manner.

The role includes key responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety and Risk Management.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that all tasks allocated by the Line Lead or Factory Manager are completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working in the production area on many different tasks

• Ensuring goods are wrapped and packed to the correct specifications.
• Cross training on all various production facilities.
• Involvement in setting up production lines.
• Cleaning of production line/machines and filling out records.
• Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy.
• Entering finished goods into production record books.
  
• Other duties as required.

The person:

• Previous operative experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
• A team player with flexibility
• Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and multi task
