Overview

The Golf Shop Associate assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. The Associate will greet members and guests when they arrive for their tee time and is responsible for accurate management and execution of tee time and POS systems while helping maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the Golf Shop while helping maintain accurate inventories. All aspects of the position shall be executed with a commitment to the highest level of service and total satisfaction of all members and guests.

This job is seasonal. We are open from late April through late November. Please consider this before applying.

Experience Required

Excellent customer service and retail experience helpful.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with golfer check-in and tee sheet management; control and manage play
• Assist with all opening and closing procedures
• Assist in managing facility tournament operations including weekly LGA/MGA/SMGA events
• Assist with men’s, women’s, and junior golf events and programs
• Assist with management of outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of member service is achieved
• Assist in managing golf car operation, practice facility, and club storage service.
• Provide club repair and re-gripping services to members.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 per hour
