Education & Formal Training High school diploma or equivalent Computer Skills Word-Processing, Presentation, Desktop Publishing, Other Experience
Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images for the promotion of the Elliott Student Union and its programs.
Participate in various stages of developing marketing programs and advertising materials to promote the Elliott Student Union .
Become familiar with graphic design strategies best utilized by college unions.
Assist with several key projects, such as the Union Birthday Bash, ESU special events, public outreach efforts, etc.
Communicate and interact with departmental staff to assure quality project plans/designs.
Design advertisements, newsletters, logos, posters, brochures, and other print or digital media.
Assist in the planning and execution of promotional and staff appreciation events.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Ability to organized and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication and public relations skills
Basic knowledge of the Elliott Student Union is desired.
