Who we are:

KJ’s Gymnastics, in Valatie, NY, is a recreational gymnastics and ninja gym (read: no competitive teams, we just do flips for fun!) We have been providing opportunities for children ages 18 months to 18 years to grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially in a safe and fun environment since 1999!

We recently added our newest program, NinjaZone, an all new sport geared towards kids with energy. It's a fusion of obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement (like flipping off a wall!), and is the next big thing in youth athletics!

The Position:

We are hiring for the summer and 2022-2023 school year. Our school-year classes are held in the late afternoon and evenings on Mondays through Thursdays, and Saturday mornings. Additionally, during the summer, we run day camps from 9 AM - 3 PM. Employees need to be available during the school year to work 2-4 days per week. We are looking for active and energetic coaches to help train beginner and intermediate skills to our amazing preschool and school-age gymnasts, ninjas, or both!

*No gymnastics or ninja experience necessary–we have a full training system–however, experience with kids is preferred. *Must be available 2-4 days during the school-year, split between weeknights (Mon-Thur.) and/or Saturdays during the daytime. *We are training the next generation, so responsibility and integrity are a must! *Must be able to act silly and laugh at yourself, just to make the shy, nervous kid in class giggle and relax!

Coaching Gymnastics or Ninja means:

*Flipping around *Empowering kids to become leaders *Laughing at the hilarious things kids say *Coaching with other awesome Coaches and leaders *Learning more about gymnastics, parkour, and obstacle courses *Being silly in front of others just to make your class laugh out loud *Contributing to a movement that is developing good kids

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.20 - $15.00/hour.
