DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 35 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a Fulfilment Centre in Longford.

DPD Ireland are currently inviting applications for Hamper Pickers and Packers to join our team in Longford. The role will involve working on a small production line, picking food items and packing them into luxury gift hampers to a high standard in presentation.

Due to Seasonal demands this is a fixed term contract starting 9th September to 16th December 2022. Flexible/Part-time Working Hours are available.

Responsibilities

• Hamper Building - ensuring quality of packing is maintained
• Picking and packing customer product

• Hamper labelling/relabelling

• Sorting pallets/preparing for shipping

• Inventory and stock control /cycle counting

• Warehouse housekeeping

Candidate Requirements

• A good eye for detail, be neat, methodical and be able to work to deadlines

• Pride in creating visually delightful end products

• Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential

• Energy and enthusiasm with an ability to use own initiative

• Excellent team player with good attention to detail

• Good communication skills with good spoken English

• Good time management skills

• Strong work ethic with willingness to learn
