Applications are invited for an appointment as Health & Safety Manager, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at University of Galway.

The College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS) incorporates the Schools of Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and the HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway, from an operational, reporting and governance perspective.

The H&S Manager is a full-time role reporting to the Academic Affairs and College Operations Manager and is a part of the College Operational Team. The H&S Manager has responsibility for all aspects of Health and Safety operations in the college and will oversee the H&S Policy and implementation in the College whilest providing specialist support to the School and Unit Safety Coordinators.

Salary:
€53788 to €72919 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the grade 5 scale in line with current Government pay policy)
