Job duties include:

• Planting and maintaining seasonal color in beds and containers
• Maintaining landscape beds by weeding, mulching, edging, etc.
• Basic ornamental pruning and perennial care
• Other duties may include raking, leaf blowing, watering, trimming, insect control, debris removal, etc.
• Interior plant installation care
• Exterior and interior holiday décor installation
• Lead crew in the field through overseeing and participating in daily work. This is a hands-on position where you will lead by example.
• Training crew members with assistance from production manager
• Achieve production schedule goals and efficiencies while ensuring Perficut quality standards are met
• Promote and adhere to Perficut safety standards
• Manage tool, equipment, and vehicle maintenance program

This hourly seasonal classification is a production role requiring at least two years of relevant experience. The employee spends the majority of their time in the field leading a crew and reports directly to the department Production Manager.

Day-to-Day Stuff

• Perform work requested by the production manager, in the timeframe requested, to the level of professionalism expected by member of Team Perficut
• Adhere to quality and safety standards
• Demonstrate willingness to learn how to operate equipment and tools needed to perform daily tasks
• Evaluate and report conditions that detract from the safety or aesthetic value of the property
• Effectively communicate with production manager and crew members
• Accurately record hours worked on a daily basis, in accordance with expectations
• Meet deadlines and follow instructions and expectations expressed by production manager
• Other duties as assigned
• Lead your team with a first-in/last-out mindset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as determined by weather conditions and changing production goals

Characteristics Needed to Succeed

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated mastery of skills gained through previous training programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with peers and teammates
• Achieve any department required certification within 90 days of placement
• Able to assess situations and make appropriate decisions
• Proficient using basic, in-field technology
• Available to work outside regular business hours as needs dictate

• Lift and carry weights ranging from 0 to 25 pounds with frequency
• Occasional lifting and carrying weights ranging from 26 to 60 pounds.

• Occasional operation of equipment
• Occasional sitting, climbing and reaching above shoulder height
• Frequent repetitive hand movements/grasping
