Full time Maintenance position available, set schedule: Monday Tuesday Wednesday: 8am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday 3pm-10pm.

Maintenance department is responsible for the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center, Holiday Inn Express, and the Cactus Red's Restaurant.

Pay is based on experience

Your job will be to keep our hotel running smoothly as it's vital to our guest's experience as Maintenance Representative you’ll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with devotion and pride.

Experience:

Basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, and carpentry knowledge with a great love for people.

Some duties will be:

-Perform preventive maintenance in all guest rooms, public areas and Garden as assigned by Manager
- Follow-up and complete work orders
- Perform routine maintenance around the hotel, pavilion, and garden areas, including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, carpet cleaning and pool cleaning/maintenance.

-Winter months maintenance is on call and required to be available for snow removal of property walkways. Summer months weekly sprinkler checks and repairs as needed.
- Work with banquet department to ensure a quality experience for event guests
- Be familiar with all hotel services to respond to guest inquiries accurately and efficiently
-Organize supplies and make sure equipment is ready for the next day
-Keep your supervisor or duty manager in the loop and tell them about any low running supplies
-Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, like the car park and pool, walk property and ensure all people on hotel grounds are customers of our hotel.
-Always keep an eye out for improvements – follow the preventative maintenance calendar and keep everything working and efficient at all times

Qualifications:

-Must have minimum of 1 year of experience
-Good attitude, confidence in work, able to listen to superiors, and focus on task at hand
-HVAC Knowledge
-Basic maintenance knowledge
-customer service
-work well alone and be a multitasker
-able to prioritize and organize to complete tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
