Post: Household Attendant

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (15 hours per week)

Location: Rathmore Residential Service

The Role:

• The Household Attendant is an integral part of the team and flexibility is essential for the role as priorities and duties can change to meet the needs of residents. As a key team player, the Household Attendant will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient, effective and high quality cleaning service to meet the centre’s requirements.
• Ensure cleaning is in accordance with the Centre’s standards.
• Ensure the provision of a consistently high service within the centre that is satisfactory to management and residents.
• Ensure that hygiene standards are maintained within the centre along with maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the designated areas, complimentary with cleaning schedules.

Essential Criteria:

• Ability to discharge the duties of the post satisfactorily.
• Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Health and Safety, Infection Control, HACCP.
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing a quality service.
• Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships including the ability to work effectively.
• Experience in a similar role desirable.
• Where applicable, applicants must hold a valid Irish work permit.
