Housekeeper needed for Brookhaven Nursing Home, part of the Brookhaven Healthcare Group.

Brookhaven Nursing Home, part of Brookhaven Healthcare, is situated in a tranquil setting on the edge of Ballyragget, close to all the village’s amenities and surrounding area. It is a purpose-built 71-bed facility. Every effort is made to encourage lots of interaction with the local community, and all residents are encouraged and supported to maintain strong links to their home communities.

We are presently looking for a Housekeeper to start working with us. Brookhaven Nursing Home specialises in the care of older persons.

Your Responsibilities:

The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client-focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment.

• Attending housekeeping.
• General cleaning duties
• Mop and buff floors as needed
• Cleaning of toilet areas
• Collection and removal of waste material to an authorised disposal point
• Reporting defects or inefficiencies to the supervisor
• Working as part of a team and on your own initiative to complete allocated duties

The successful candidates will have a genuine passion for caring and a keen interest in aged care.
