Fairfield by Marriott in Carlisle, PA is hiring for a Housekeeper to join our team! At our hotel, we strive to have a friendly, happy, encouraging culture with growth opportunities for all. Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning duties in guest rooms, public guest areas, and back of house.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental and brand standards are followed in all rooms (and other areas) you are responsible for.
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Maintains organization and inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
• Assists in Laundry as needed.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Hours/Shifts:

• Part Time (and/or possibly Full Time) hours are available.
• Shifts may range from 5-8 hours per day.
• Housekeepers work daytime hours; starting at 8:00am Monday-Friday and 9:00am Saturday-Sunday.
• Must be available on weekends.

Hotel Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills:

• Ability to work hard in a fast paced environment and easily adapt to change.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Able to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Takes pride in your work.
• Experience being an inspector or lead housekeeper is not required, but is a plus! The opportunity to advance within these positions is available.

• A full time employee is an employee who works 30+ hours per week.
• After 90 days all full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Paid Time Off. (Part Time employees not eligible for these benefits.)
