SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the Director of Performance Evaluation and Compliance is responsible for all activities connected with the MCPS Professional Growth System (PGS) regarding employee evaluation cycles; responsible for monitoring and tracking pre-employment staffing activities for professional school positions from initial interview and through to potential hire. Compiles MCPS staff data as requested.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Skill at proofreading numbers and interpreting tables of figures. strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, working knowledge of standard database technologies management and their use in workforce reporting; must be able to learn and apply new software processes as they become available. Strong consultation skills necessary to work effectively with others designing, evaluating and executing workforce data reports required. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and the ability to meet the seven core competencies of the Supporting Services Professional Growth System (SSPGS).
EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree required. College major in information management systems; business administration, HR resource administration, or related fields preferred. Advanced knowledge of MS/Office products, FILEMAKER PRO, ORACLE DISCOVERER, and Lawson HRIS required. Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered.
