Based in Austin, TX, we are currently seeking a Talented HR Business Partner who will be responsible for executing the talent strategy, providing consistent experience and coaching with the Manufacturing leadership team and team members and helping to drive culture and engagement to the highest levels. The HR Business Partner provides HR Partnership and leadership for the team members focusing on work environment, employee relations, team members retention and business process by executing the business unit HR strategy. We are looking for a collaborative partner who will build cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information and use cases and industry analyses to develop best practices.
Essential Functions:
- Serves as subject-matter expert to managers and directors.
- Implements change based on proven change management techniques.
- Applies policies and procedures across an organization; interprets both policies and changes to policy.
- Applies compliance knowledge to protect organization and mitigate risk.
- Seeks ways to proactively improve organizational processes and outcomes; implements solutions that are aligned and consistent with HR best practices.
- Identifies and reports trends to Senior HR Leaders for business unit.
- Establish culture and drive engagement by analyzing trends and developing specific engagement strategies, ensuring appropriate team members value proposition, partnering with leaders to deliver appropriate & effective communications, influencing appropriate operating mechanisms, and supporting a culture of wellness.
- Develop and implement change initiatives and communication plans within the site.
- Attract, motivate, and retain a diverse workforce that delivers results.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence as they develop, communicate and implement initiatives and programs throughout the organization.
- Executes HR business strategies to drive key business results; provides guidance on HR matters, partnering with subject-matter experts to develop needed solutions.
- Maintains broad-based knowledge of the organization and its operations; uses knowledge of business and HR metrics to facilitate business decisions.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the labor market and its relation to organizational success.
- Interprets data and makes recommendations; asks critical questions needed to evaluate data; gathers, analyzes and presents data to managers and recommends solutions that support the culture and the defined HR strategy.
- Analyzes root causes of work environment issues; manages interventions and solutions in collaboration and cooperation with key stakeholders.
Education/Experience/Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in human resources, business or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources generalist role or relevant work experience
- Must demonstrate initiative to drive solutions.
- Is creative yet detail oriented; flexible, willing to take calculated risks and take accountability for the outcomes.
- Understands applicable Federal and State employment laws.
- Excellent time management and organization skills, with the proven ability to juggle and reprioritize based on business demands and priorities.
- Work onsite in our manufacturing plant Monday – Friday
- Flexibility to come in as needed to provide support and oversight to off shift team members.
