As the HR Specialist, you will handle HR administration for the corporate organization as well other Allied Motion locations including employee benefit, onboarding and retirement plan administration and processing, in a timely manner and in compliance with corporate policies and external requirements. Can also support HR functions such as talent management and acquisition activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administers health and welfare benefit programs processing and communicates with carriers including medical, dental, vision, flex spending accounts and other voluntary offerings.
  • Prepares and distributes new hire packets for Corporate and Controls technical unit, including new hire onboarding/paperwork and orientation for Corporate and Controls technical unit
  • Maintains employee files for all US employees, including employee status, benefit elections and beneficiary forms, as well as the employee census form.
  • Back up person for maintaining payroll records and update as required. Processes weekly and semi-monthly payroll utilizing ADP. Consolidates US payroll information and make weekly 401k deposits and assists with the GL preparation
  • Processes/tracks leave of absences such as FMLA, PFL, STD, LTD and workers compensation. Manage PTO balances and holiday scheduling,
  • Processes internal and external reports and filing including headcount tracking, audit requests, AAP, VETS 100, OSHA and other government required and compliance related deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other degree program, PHR or SHRM-CP desired.
  • 2+ years of related experience, internship experience is acceptable.
  • Experience with ADP, HRIS, ERP, and employee benefit administration preferred.
  • Must have excellent MS Office skills, include MS Word and Excel.
