Liberty Homecare is hiring for ILST's in a non-medical homecare setting to work with our Elderly and Brain Injury Individuals.

We are looking for a caregiver to work with female client Monday-Friday in Sharon, CT. The hours are from 8a-3p. Client lives alone, vape-smoker, 1 pet (cat) and needs assistance with daily living skills and errands.

Please submit resume with at least 1 year related work experience. Experience with brain injury clients is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ILST (Independent Living Skills Trainer)

• Provides safe personal care for individual based on individualized Care Plan provided during client orientation
• Assists individuals with ADL's and independence at home
• Transportation assistance for errands and appointments
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminder and meal preparation
• Incident reporting and client condition change reporting/communication
• Encouraging socialization
• Community support
• Re-direction and overall superivision
• Driver's License and vehicle is required for position ***

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
