Immediate opening as an Independent (Territory) Sales Rep for Midwest Fastener Corp, a national fastener company servicing hardware stores, home centers, and lumber yards. You will represent one of the fastest growing, and well-known companies in the hardware/home improvement industry. You will enjoy the freedom of being an independent sales rep while also receiving 100% support from the company. This territory has a solid customer base with unlimited growth potential.

As a leader in the industry for more than 50 years, Midwest Fastener Corp. is seeking a professional, motivated, and results driven Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory in the Dodge City area, including Garden City and Liberal. Knowledge in the hardware industry is essential to this position. This individual will travel within the territory to service and develop business with our existing customers, as well as growing the territory by establishing new accounts.

Target start date: April 1, 2023

Earning Potential: $70,000 - $75,000

Qualifications:

· Has proven success in a sales territory.

· Has hardware knowledge.

· Has retail merchandising experience.

· Has a strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently.

· Be able to hit the ground running.

· Be able to maintain a solid relationship with customer service and management.

· Is highly organized and detail oriented.

· Is able to plan, organize, and maintain a territory schedule.

· Is computer literate-MS Office, internet, smart phone technology.

· Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Has excellent customer service skills.

· Has dependable transportation.

Daily responsibilities:

· Visit customers to place orders and service accounts.

· Recruit new accounts.

· Plan and execute store conversions. Store conversions require lifting, moving, and assembling product and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.

Job Type:

· Contract, Commission, 1099 (There are no benefits or reimbursements paid with this position)
