As we continue to expand and update our means of production to a state-of-the-art facility we need a Maintenace Supervisor that can take ownership and build on existing systems through a capital equipment implementation. This role will be predominantly on the day but have coverage on nights if needed or for emergency remediation. Pay and benefits package is competitive and negotiable up to 100K base per year to start.

Job Description

Delivers expected results by reducing variability amongst PM activities, utility equipment, facilities equipment, and line run ability. Applies in his/her site the standards developed in regard to PM activities, provide inputs to them for continuous improvement, maintains, and tracks accurate information in SAP. Accountable for the availability, safety, and quality of the boiler, ammonia chillers, compressors, AHU’s, cooling towers, PH pit, utility room, manufacturing lines, etc. from an equipment perspective, and responsible for the overall performance, safety, and quality of their equipment. Lead his/her team on capability building and direction setting within the Brands Waters Factory. Prioritize shift mechanics where need be when the needs of the business arise. Communicate with engineering resources and escalate when needed to fulfill the obligations of a 24/7 running factory. The shift is M-Sat and comensated as a non exempt role of take advantage of overtime.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Has developed practical experience and technical mastery in the technology or process as per predefined qualification criteria allowing him/her to be already a resource in the site.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and participate actively in networks and troubleshooting.
  • Very knowledgeable of operational work processes (PM) and standards (TPM process).
  • Able to coach, train, and effectively manage operators and other mechanics. He/she is empowered to speak for the specified equipment of ownership within the maintenance dept. and he/she has full trust amongst site leaders.
  • Coach, mentor and develop front line employees to meet current and future business requirements.
  • Build relationships with frontline team members to help create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Is the site SPOC on mechanical/electrical PM activities in the factory
  • Deploys PM changes in his/her site to his/her mechanics. These changes can be both equipment and work process related.
  • Leads for the factory defined PM improvement projects in a coordinated manner with mechanics and operators.
  • Provides timely completion rates and data to engineering scorecards, participates, and leads the daily DH activities.
  • Accountability to the line/equipment results with in the factory (i.e. AI, Availability, Breakdowns, Safety, Holds, CC)
  • Coach and train mechanics on proper WO and PM adherence and execution
  • Managing the planned work on the DH window to start and completion drive time and proper execution
  • Ensure execution of the standards – standard adherence (cleaning, running, downtime, etc.)
  • TPM tag identification and defect clearing on equipment center
  • Execute and complete Breakdown Analysis from equipment in regards to PM01 or extended downtime.
  • Attending and being an active participant of the DH briefing and debriefing meetings when applicable.
  • Daily troubleshooting of operational problems after PM activities are complete
  • Finding root cause of problems after machine or process failure
  • Continuous help of PM planning with the site planner
  • Returns parts needing restock to the storeroom within 24hrs of non-use.
  • Coaching of SAP usage with all mechanics
  • Assure necessary critical spares are in inventory for area of ownership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour
