About the Role:

We are seeking an Information Technology and Security Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join and grow our award-winning team at 10Pearls. This is a blended internal and external role that will be responsible for managing the internal IT infrastructure and support for our US office and executing technical security assessments of customer systems using a variety of commercial and open-source tools. Experience administering Office 365 and leveraging its security capabilities is critical for this role.

This is an instrumental role in the operation of our business, so you will be able to communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will not only provide hands-on services to internal & external stakeholders but will also be the primary point of contact for all security and information technology-related requests.

Your Day to Day:

• Participate in pre-sales activity to understand client pain points and describe potential solutions
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the solutions delivery process including identifying opportunities, developing requirements, and delivering results.
• Perform vulnerability assessments of networks and systems using a combination of commercial and free/open source tools in order to gauge risks posed by network and system design.
• Perform penetration testing of web and mobile applications using a combination of commercial and free/open source tools in order to demonstrate a capability to exploit vulnerabilities present within software and systems.
• Create and communicate security analysis reports to demonstrate to internal and external parties the need for improvement
• Work in close collaboration with Clients, Development and Product Management teams to address design, security, and architecture of development efforts
• Develop test plans, system specifications, hardening guides, and other tools to assist in the defense of exposed systems.
• Assist in general technical assistance for US office including system troubleshooting, granting and removing access, and user help.
• Manage Office365 and Azure Active Directory resources to ensure productivity and security
• Develop security policies and other security documentation for internal and external use.
• Fulfilling multiple project requests while simultaneously meeting tight deadlines.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines both internally and externally.

What Our Team is Looking For:

• 3-5 years of full-time information technology and security experience
• Excellent communicator with a deep technical background
• Tech-savvy with strong working knowledge of Office 365 and penetration testing / vulnerability management systems
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
• Active security industry certifications such as CISSP and CEH, preferred
• Bachelor's degree, preferred
• This role requires presence in our Tysons Corner office at least 4 days a week.
• Experience in as many of these areas as possible:

• Information security training and awareness
• Security and risk assessments (e.g. ISO-27001, NIST 800-53, etc.)
• Managing security infrastructure (including PKI and SIEM systems)
• Static and Dynamic Security Testing
• Network Security and Next-Generation-Firewall configuration
• Experience with common industry vulnerability standards such as OWASP Top 10 and CWE/SANS Top 25
