Interior Designer

Wellesley Design Consultants is a well-established interior design firm specializing in senior living communities and other types of projects. We are located in Haverhill Massachusetts. We are a small office offering a casual, congenial work environment.

Job description

We are looking for a full-time interior designer to join our team. This position will assist with all aspects of the design process from conception through completion. Specifics include:

• Layout and finishes selections
• Project logistics and tracking
• Budget management
• Production of CAD/Revit documents
• Meeting with clients
• Presentations
• Scheduling and install management
• Spec writing for furniture & finishes
• Construction administration

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of interior design experience working independently through all phases of the project lifecycle. The ability to multi-task is essential to maintain drawings and specs while staying on track within projects goals, budgets and deadlines. Specific qualifications include:

• Bachelor in Interior Design
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Time management
• Ownership
• Responsibility
• Deadline oriented and self directed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs
• Proficiency with AutoCAD & Revit, and other cloud based programs
• Articulate and well spoken – comfortable as the front-lines contact presenting our services to a discerning clientele
• In office participation required
