Internship Airtricity Digital Content Assistant

About the Role

Base Location: Dublin or Belfast

Salary: circa £19,100 (UK) or €25,200 (ROI) pro rata + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 6 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

This role will be within the Digital Content team where you will be supporting on publishing content on the website, content design on user journeys, search engine optimisation and increasing organic traffic.

This placement would suit a final or penultimate year student or graduate.

What will I do during the placement?

During your 6 month internship you will be assisting the Digital Content team at a time when they are migrating from their current content management system, to a new future-fit, fit-for purpose system in ensuring that business-as-usual requests are delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Your role will include:

• Uploading and publishing new articles, press releases and careers to the current system.

• Creating redirects and vanity URLs when required.

• Managing the content email box: respond and implement content requests.

• Preparing weekly and monthly reporting on volume and fulfilled requests.

What do I need?

You will have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us, often candidates who join us on intern placements consider joining our Graduate Programmes after graduation.

To be considered for this role we would love you to have:

• A genuine interest in Digital or websites, with a desire to develop current skills.

• Great organisation and time management skills.

• Marketing, Media or Journalism experience would be advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills.
