Role Profile
The Investment Analytics and Reporting team is a critical part of the investment team at Mediolanum. The investment analytics intern will assist in providing information about portfolio past performance and expected returns. The team (part of the larger Investment team) supports portfolio managers with portfolio insight, research team with fund and peer insight, and the management with portfolio oversight information. It also contributes to regulatory reporting. The company is undergoing expansion and the successful candidate will help create processes that will deliver data and information in digestible and easy-to-consume way. Emphasis is on the overall user experience and the ability of each user to consume large amounts of useful and impactful information on the fly and with ease, trough visual aids. The ultimate goal of the organisation is for this team to transfer its analytics to a business intelligence (BI) application.
The role will require the successful candidate to analyse performance across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset products. The work will include regular tasks, ad hoc requests, as well as larger projects Although this is not an IT role, the ability to manage data and deliver information via programming/scripted languages is necessary. Previous experience in that respect will be a distinctive advantage. The individual will also need to be able to understand the requirements of different stakeholders and translate these into clear deliverables.
