IT Delivery Intern

What you will do

This role will be part of a dynamic global team supporting the delivery of enterprise scale ‘best of breed’ sales and marketing capabilities for our Global Products/Hitachi business vertical.

The successful candidate will work with both IT and the business and help deliver technical changes that simplify the Salesforce Sales and Marketing application for our business to manage their customers more easily.

This position will report into the Digital Solutions Delivery Lead for Global Products based in Cork, Ireland.

Core responsibilities

• Work with the technical delivery team to clarify business requirements
• Document business processes and translate business needs into technical stories that the delivery team will work from
• Collaborate with the delivery team in the planning, design, development, execution, and governance of the work
• Help with regular reporting back on progress of story delivery
• Support demos of the technical enhancements back to business users
• Assist in the preparation of sprint planning and story refinement before each delivery sprint
• Support UAT testing for new changes
• Raise any risks that are identified to Project Manager or Delivery Lead for escalation as needed

What we look for

• A high achiever on track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a technical area.
• A passion for learning new technologies and a desire to learn about global enterprise processes and procedures
• Takes initiative and asks questions to better understand situation
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop and deliver materials that are appropriate for the audience.
• Strong experience in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
