Hansen Talent Group is hiring an IT Senior Project Manager to work with an audit management team at a great enterprise in Columbia, SC. This position has work from home flexibility but will require some on site days.

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for leading the audit effort from inception to discovery, planning, data collection, field work, reporting remediation planning and follow-up of remediation task. This role will take a leadership role for leading active audits and if any of those audits result in findings, this role will track remediation efforts through closure of the finding.

  • Develop and monitor project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation. Ensure project documentation and deliverables are complete, on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards.
  • Identify items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort. Monitor resource requirements based on project specifications. Ensure resources are assigned to meet project objectives while managing project hours budgeted.
  • Responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of project communications. Facilitate effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts. This will include meetings, correspondence, status reports and other documentation.
  • Identify the impact of issues arising from the work efforts and/or resource requirements. Manage the project issues throughout the project life cycle. Communicate the implications of changes to the project scope with senior management and other appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for ensuring all work efforts have appropriate documentation for audit purposes utilizing project methodology standards in accordance with the ISSM.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, information systems, business processes, and the key drivers and measures of success for the business unit and the organization.
  • Advanced competency in management of resources to meet goals and multiple projects.
  • Strong ability to lead multiple multidiscipline, high-performance work teams throughout project life cycle.
  • Strong ability to negotiate terms and scope of work documents. Advanced ability to prepare and present formal presentations.
  • Ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion.
  • Effective strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting analysis of project triple constraints.
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  • Experience efficiently managing stressful situations and short notice assignments.
  • Knowledge of audit control objectives, audit terminology understanding of security function.

Work Experience: 5 years IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 2 years experience leading two or more concurrent project teams.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates: PMP Certification

Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Adobe Professional and Visio.
