Resolve helpdesk calls and be the initial point of contact for in-hours office support

As part of a team, support in the region of 2 thousand compute endpoints (PC/laptops/Mobile) both onsite and remote, in office and regulated manufacturing environment

Rollout/configuration/troubleshooting of various off the shelf and custom inhouse software

Identify trending issues and escalate when required

Liaise with Global IT for tickets escalated above site and chase for resolution

Endpoint deployment using SCCM and InTune

Transfer knowledge to non-technical end users

Image/clone endpoints using various backup software

A keen eye on technology, able to bring new ideas and suggestions to the IT team

Manage small deskside projects and software rollouts

Experience:
Experience in Medical Device/Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated environment would be beneficial

Experienced in the deskside Microsoft application portfolio including Microsoft Office, Teams

In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals

Proven ability to work in a team environment and liaise with different departments and stakeholders

Excellent communication skills

Experience in training and educating end users

Minimum 3 years working in same role in corporate environment

Advanced capability with desktop operating systems such as Windows 10

Excellent problem solving capabilities

Good practical understanding on areas such as GPO, AD, DNS, DHCP, Bitlocker, patching, networking, backups, helpdesk system, firewalls, web proxy etc
