JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our growing Americas team. This role requires you to be able to assist in project tasks between eMite and Snare systems.

Working with your Team Leader, your primary objective is to assign project tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management, update, and monitor project plans for Project Manager, and ensure communication on project updates are conducted efficiently and appropriately.

This role is home based, giving you the further benefit of a flexible work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Support all PMO activities as defined by PMO leadership.
• Design project plans and monitor report writing progress and activities
• Assign project tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
• Update & monitor project plans for Project Manager
• Meeting note taking and task follow up
• Run weekly and monthly reports for customers as defined by Project Manager
• Communicate project status to all participants, including PMO.
• Provide assistance in the planning, implementation and delivery of products, ensuring effective and high-quality fit for purpose products are delivered on time and to schedule.
• Work collaboratively across the program, implementation partners and other vendors and internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and deliverables.
• Coordinate status updates and schedule changes for product teams within a complex environment
• Assist others to maintain the product backlog so the team can continually make forward progress.
• Assist with the definition, documentation and successful completion of products within a complex program environment ensuring that appropriate project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained.
• Identify and provide advice on resolving issues to ensure information, application and infrastructure compatibility and user preparation and readiness relevant to project activities.
• See products/projects through to completion, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as required. Commit to achieving quality outcomes, that are fit for purpose and ensure appropriate documentation and decisions are maintained and stakeholders’ expectations are met.
• Take personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work.
• Demonstrate initiative and proactively step in and does what is required.
• Commits energy and drive to see that goals are achieved.
• Working in a collaborative manner, approach negotiations with a strong grasp of the key issues. Understand the desired objectives and associated strengths and weaknesses.
• Other duties as required by the Head of Global Customer Delivery / PMO.

Requirements

Mandatory:

• Familiar with various Contact Centre and data analytics solutions (e.g. Genesys, Amazon Connect, Avaya, eMite, Tableau, PowerBI, etc).
• Some experience in a related project management position.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current knowledge around technical advancements and a desire to continually learn new processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skill and a demonstrable ability to work with enterprise organisations and build client relationships.
• An ability to prepare and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
• Solid organisational skills, including strong multitasking and time-management skills.

Highly Desirable:

• Contact centre reporting / KPI knowledge and experience.
• Business Intelligence / data analytics experience (Tableau, PowerBI, etc).
• Application / Web Development experience / Knowledge of Genesys / Amazon contact centre solutions (PureCloud, PureEngage, PureConnect, Amazon Connect).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Scripting, Programming, Data warehousing, IT networking and infrastructure.
• Exposure to Cloud Computing platforms and technologies, i.e. Amazon Web Services.
• Security knowledge in enterprise application deployment/regulatory requirements (PCI, GDPR).
