Morgan McKinley are currently recruiting for the role of Lab Technician to join a highly successful company in Kildare, this company is long established with testing of both animal and human diseases.

The role will be on offer for a minimum of 16 weeks and will allow people gain some valuable experience in a lab. This would be ideal for a recent college graduate who is seeking an opportunity of this quality. This role will operate Monday - Friday on a shift rotated basis but will also require candidates to be available on Saturday's as you may be asked to work Saturday's - Double Time offered for this.

The Role:

• Carrying out testing according to Enfer standard operating procedures
• Comply with the requirement of the ISO 17025 standard as defined by procedures
• Complete all day-to-day activities as allocated by the laboratory manager/supervisor
• Maintain test equipment to ensure its continuing fitness for purpose
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed and to high standard
• Maintain housekeeping levels within the Laboratory

The Requirements:

• Recognised Science qualification - Necessity
• Experience is an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided
• Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word or other MS packages
• Experience in working as part of a team
