Job description

As a member of a survey crew, the Rodman position provides support for the successful completion of projects under the direction of a Party Chief. Assist members of the assigned survey crew with various job duties such as; carry rod from point to point for staking; set up back site with tripod and prism as well as packing and unpacking survey equipment and supplies in trucks for daily job duties.

Qualifications:

• 1 year previous experience in land surveying in San Antonio
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written
• Ability to follow directions from party chief
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and terrain
• Must be able lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis for carrying various types of survey equipment such as tripod, prism, rod and supplies
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday; occasional Saturdays.
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Valid and clear drivers license preferred.

Compensation based on previous experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
