POSITION SUMMARY

To support continued growth while maintaining our high standards for our customers, Infinity Global is seeking a talented, motivated Lead Appian Developer to support our global business.

The Lead Appian Developer acts as an integral member of the Infinity Global IT team and is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions on web platforms. These platforms are customer-facing, and they facilitate partnerships with Infinity Global. A suitable candidate will be technically savvy, organized, and responsive to the needs of the business.

The Lead Appian Developer will be expected to manage and prioritize development tasks. This role requires that you should be able to present the solution designed by you to a senior level leadership. Communications skill is a must for this role. You will be part of a unique opportunity that will shape the future of IT at Infinity Global. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TECHNICAL:

• Be part of a growing team and lead the development team to build on the Appian platform.
• Build the front end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and implement best practices for the team and conduct regular code reviews.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Build processes with security and data protection settings.
• Secure applications by developing policies, procedures, and controls.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain application performance through best practices.
• Architect client-side and server-side systems for customer-facing websites.
• Write effective REST APIs.
• Maintain versioning during the build deployment process to the Production environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - FUNCTIONAL:

• Maintain the corporate culture within the technology team.
• Provide support to Production application and be the admin for Appian platform.
• Train, coach, and work as a team player to help build a high-performing IT development team.
• Self-manage and prioritize assigned tasks. Provide timely updates to business stakeholders on those tasks.
• Set up design and discovery walkthroughs with consultants and the internal team.
• Work with management and technical resources to plan, design, implement, and operate enterprise systems and enhancements according to the application roadmaps.
• Work with business and end-users, application teams, and leadership to establish application roadmaps for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
• Aid in establishing timelines and defining the scope of projects.
• Communicate event notices, status, project risks/delays, and plans to peers, business/system users, and management.
• Participate in enhancement projects, go-live planning, events, migrations, upgrades, and system outages.
• Ensure electronic documentation of program development and subsequent revisions are recorded to promote cross-training and business understanding of development and configuration framework and changes.
• Support system users by identifying and responding with proper urgency to problems and communicating system status, establishing due dates and expectations for projects and tasks.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience with –
  • Web scripting languages – SAIL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • SQL and Relational database systems – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB
  • Design and build REST APIs
  • Requirements gathering and analysis
• 2+ years of experience with APPIAN.
• 2+ years of experience in leading successful software delivery
• Experience in designing rich UI/UX-based web applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
• Cross-functional team coordination and the ability to prioritize tasks

PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE:

• AWS and/or Azure platform services
• DevOps Experience is nice to have
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain management industry
