Sentar is seeking a Lead Engineer in Orlando, FL!

Role Description:

The Lead Engineer provides technical leadership for day-to-day NCRC RM operations. Responsible for providing planning, direction, and coordination of all engineering efforts. This position is responsible for technical performance and engineering costs and schedules and serves as the Contractor's technical spokesperson for projects and/or programs. Advises the Government on schedule, budget, and technical priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
  • 12+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
  • Direct experience with software development and requirements management.
  • Proven experience leading teams to develop new and existing products, solutions, and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically while executing tactically.
  • Experience with project logistics by managing and balancing project resources across multiple competing priorities.
  • Including securing adequate resources needed by the teams to meet schedule.
  • Communicates effectively and accurately convey status and identify, assess, and communicate risks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to express technical ideas to senior decision makers.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with controlled engineering baselines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with a focus in computer science, engineering, or a related field of study.
  • 20+ years of related, proven experience in technical management overseeing complex, multi-team projects of similar scale as the Contractor’s proposed effort.
  • Experience managing remote and distributed teams.
  • Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
  • Experience working Government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
