Johnson & Johnson New Planned Consumer Health Company is currently recruiting for a Lead Financial Analyst, NA Supply Chain Procurement Finance (External Manufacturing). This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, North America Supply Chain Procurement Finance. What will you do

The position relies on building meaningful business partnerships with senior stakeholders across the External Manufacturing (EM) categories as well as engaging and driving collaboration with other finance teams in the region supporting other Supply Chain pillars, Franchise support as well as Inventory & Costing center of excellence. This position will have supervisory experience within the team.

The Lead Financial Analyst - NAM Source EM will provide strong financial support and guidance to the Regional Sourcing Team in strong alignment and collaboration with the Global Source Organization. This position requires both detailed financial & procurement analytics as well as an ability to operate with a big-picture perspective to support category managers with complicated negotiation strategies. The candidate will provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to the Consumer NAM Procurement Team while ensuring alignment with Global category strategies. This includes managing annual spending of approx. $800MM, supporting multiple technologies and new product launches. This is a highly visible position that will provide key insights into forecasts and actual results presented to regional and global business leadership.

The candidate will actively drive the transparency and visibility of key financial metrics to business partners including but not limited to Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Cost Improvement Projects, Commodity Inflation/Deflation, and Strategic Investments. They will support the procurement team through annual Business Planning as well as quarterly financial updates; building and delivering on comprehensive and stretching budgets for the region focused on maximizing value creation. The candidate will also participate in the annual standard cost setting for the NAM Procurement team and enable robust Year on Year cost change analytics. The role is also highly relied on as a financial partner to the procurement team in supporting the creation and validation of value-creating business cases.

A process and innovation mindset will be critical to the success of this role to build, improve and adopt J&J Consumer Source Finance processes.

This role has direct leadership experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning, reporting, and analytics processes for North America Source Direct PPV.
• Provide financial leadership and business partner/decision support for the NA Direct Procurement Organization.
• Assess and evaluate Cost Improvement projects (CIPs) to identify value drivers to the financial statements.
• Partner with key stakeholders within Source to meet cost commitments across all areas of PPV.
• Provide support for key compliance activities to ensure adherence to SOX, WWP, and internal policies and procedures.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• At least three (3) years of finance or accounting experience
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think creatively and work in a team environment.
• Ability to successfully tackle leadership roles and framing to senior leadership.
• Must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously.

• Experience in supply chain and consumer products industries
• Experience in public accounting
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $142,600.
