What You’ll Do:

Help guide and train all Warranty Coordinators in learning to interpret, verify and process appropriate warranty claims for accurate processing of services and parts replacements on U.S. Xpress, Inc. and subsidiary companies’ equipment

  • Assist in real time warranty questions pertaining to multiple OEM’s
  • Assist in reimbursements of claims from multiple vendors
  • Look for opportunities in short pays or denials of reimbursements
  • Assist in the coordination and training of new employees
  • Assist in in keeping training material updated as warranty policies change
  • Help maintain the company’s visibility to warranty policy changes as they may change from the manufacture/OEM
  • Follow up with OEM/Manufacture Reps on pending policy issues
  • Help communicate information to U.S. Xpress, Inc. Shops and OTR with warranty policy changes that may affect them
  • Help insure SOP’s are updated and maintained
  • Update Warranty Manager on process improvement opportunities
  • Lead by example proper attendance and time off behavior dictated by the real-time demands required by workload
  • Review Work Orders for potential warranty opportunities
  • Help track and maintain current listing of recalls and campaigns need on U.S. Xpress, Inc. equipment
  • Help maintain a positive relationship with outside vendors performing warranty work while negating excessive labor disputes
  • Research as needed discrepancies shortcomings on invoice information
  • Help maintain a positive inner department atmosphere
  • Coordinate corporate level communication and shop wide communication on training opportunities
  • Other daily duties as assigned by the Warranty Manager

What We’re Looking For:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of experience in automotive warranty is required.
  • Experience in direct filing with multiple OEM’s a plus.
  • Proficient with Cetaris software is a plus though not a requirement.
  • Experience in the transportation industry is a plus.

Skills/Certifications

  • VMRS Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
