Learning & Development Administrator - Castleblayney
Job description
This is a 6 month contracted position.
Position Overview
The Learning & Development Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure the effective and efficient management of the Training Department.
Principal Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Communicating directly with learners and colleagues on training and training course related matters.
- Managing training documentation and IT requirements using the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Accurate recording of learner information onto required paperwork including the maintenance of files.
- Timely reporting and follow-up of learner concerns, complaints or other significant issues.
- Produce key performance indicator (KPI) reports as advised by Training Manager.
- Maintain good relations with trainers and assisting with queries as needed.
- Ensure compliance with best practice in line with company policies and procedures
- Ensuring quality assurance is achieved as guided and led by the Training Manager.
- All other ad-hoc tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work based on requirements.
- Willingness and ability to develop other team members
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to schedule and assign work loads
- Team player
- Demonstrable IT skills (basic to intermediate user level)
- Administration experience gained in an office environment
Skills
- Organization – Effective management, organization, and prioritization of office functions
- Communication – Clearly conveying and receiving messages to meet the needs of all. This involves listening, interpreting and delivering verbal, non-verbal, written and electronic messages.
- Service Delivery – Understanding and meeting the needs of trainees and internal clients
- Technical – Ability to accurately and thoroughly utilize office technology and to demonstrate practical knowledge of information management, e-mail management and privacy protection issues.
- Adaptability – Personal willingness and ability to work in, and adapt to change.
- Interpersonal – Working cooperatively and productively with others to achieve results
Personal Circumstances
- Able to travel as required
- Clean current driving license
- Available to work additional hours as necessary
